CNB Donates to Sheriff’s Office Education/Safety Fund

The CNB Hillsdale, Litchfield, Somerset Center, and Jonesville branches recently donated to $400 to the Hillsdale County Sheriff's Office Education/Safety Fund. Our contribution will be used to purchase items like coloring books, safety materials, and stickers to hand out to children at Hillsdale County events. In the past, an outside organization has collected funds for these items and kept a portion for administrative costs. The Hillsdale County Sheriff's Office has declined to utilize that service, instead collecting donations directly that will go entirely toward the purchase of educational items  - no administrative fees will be taken from these donations. In addition, local vendors will be used as much as possible.
