Community Banking During COVID-19

/ Categories: Bank News

At County National Bank, we are proud to be a locally-based community bank. We have always been committed to supporting the communities where we live and work. We are in the midst of overwhelming and uncertain circumstances, and CNB has stepped up to meet these challenges.

What is CNB doing to help our communities?

We have helped over 200 customers with mortgage payments, 27 consumer loan customers have been able to take advantage of the skip a payment program, and 510 small businesses have been approved to receive $110 million in SBA funds. Like many community bankers, we are waiting on further guidance from Congress regarding additional funds to be allocated towards this program. Our team continues to go above and beyond to do everything we can to meet our customers’ needs.

Where can you go to receive stellar service for all your banking needs?

Our lobbies remain closed to the general public for the time being, but our branches continue to provide drive-thru service at all of our 12 branch locations. Please also consider using the following convenient ways to conduct your day-to-day financial transactions:

  • Online Banking
  • Mobile Banking
  • Online Mortgage Applications
  • ATM
  • Telephone Banking: (517) 439-0470 or (888) 598-0470
  • Night Depository

For banking needs that cannot be accomplished through one of the options listed above, we continue to offer limited services by appointment only. For the safety of our customers and our staff, we are working diligently to minimize inperson transactions and services whenever possible.

What’s going on with online banking and mobile app access?

We know that some customers have been experiencing difficulty accessing accounts using online banking and our mobile app. We understand the frustration, as so many of us are currently relying on these tools to view accounts and transactions. Our provider, like other financial technology providers, is experiencing unprecedented high volumes of transactions in online banking applications. This is a high priority for us; be assured that our provider has all resources engaged in resolving these issues.

How do you know your money is safe at CNB?

For your protection, please remember that County National Bank will never call you and ask for personal information like your social security number, PIN, or passwords. If you receive a call and you are not sure it is us, please hang up and call us directly.

You can trust that your money is safe and secure with CNB. Not only is your money insured by the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation), County National Bank has again been awarded a 5-star (out of 5) Superior rating by BauerFinancial, Inc., the nation’s leading independent bank and credit union rating firm. For more information regarding FDIC insurance, please visit their website: https://www.fdic.gov/.
