CNB Announces Main Office Leadership Team

John R. Waldron, President and CEO of County National Bank (“CNB”), is pleased to announce a new leadership team for the Hillsdale branch of CNB.

Amanda Wood has been promoted to Relationship Manager of the Main Office in Hillsdale. Amanda joined our team in November of 2013 as a part-time Teller in Jonesville, transitioned to Hudson as a full-time Teller in February of 2016, and transferred to Hillsdale in May of 2016. Since 2016, she has held positions as Executive Assistant and Assistant Manager, and most recently completed the Mangement Trainee Program. Amanda has demonstrated her commitment to CNB through her excellent service to our customers and communities.

Amanda has been working toward a degree in Business Administration and has completed certifications from both the Michigan Bankers Association and American Bankers Association. She is an active representative of CNB in the community, volunteering as a coach for the Hillsdale County AYSO and Hillsdale County Recreation Department. She also supports Hillsdale Community Schools and volunteers at bank-sponsored and community events.

Don Germann has taken on the role of Branch Manager of the Main Office in Hillsdale and also retains his management position at the Jonesville Office. As the AVP – Branch Officer, Don will have responsibilities over both Hillsdale and Jonesville markets. Don’s banking background spans 29 years, and he joined CNB in 2003 to manage the Jonesville team. Don is held in high regard within the community and is actively engaged in business development throughout the area. Don understands the mission and vision of CNB as it relates to building client relationships and providing great service.

Don received a Bachelor of Science degree from The Defiance College in addition to completing several courses provided by the Michigan Bankers Association. Don is an active participant in the community, serving as a member of the Michigan Works Southeast Board, the Jonesville Rotary Club, and the Jonesville Downtown Development Authority. He is also on the Executive Committee of both the Hillsdale County Economic Development Partnership and the Branch County Community Foundation, and serves as the treasurer for the Jonesville Lions Club.
