CNB Announces Recent Commercial Services Vice President Promotions

John R. Waldron, President and CEO of County National Bank (“CNB”), is pleased to announce the recent promotions of several members of the CNB team.

Chad Rumsey has been promoted to Vice President – Commercial Loan Officer for CNB. Chad joined CNB in January of 2012 and has 22 years of banking experience in commercial lending, treasury management, and branch management. Chad has served CNB’s commercial clients with excellent customer service, was key in the selection, design, and implementation of new loan software at CNB, and has been instrumental in assisting several clients with Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) loans over the past year. Chad holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University, and is a former board member for the Jackson YMCA and United Way of Jackson County.

Eric Potes has been promoted to Second Vice President – Commercial Loan Officer. Eric has 18 years of banking experience, serving as a commercial lender at CNB for 11 years. He has been instrumental in assisting clients with PPP loans throughout the past year, and led the implementation of the Farmer Mac Program, which allows CNB to be competitive in the agricultural arena.Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker College, and a master’s degree in business administration from Spring Arbor University. He is active in the community, serving as treasurer of the Hillsdale Rotary Club and as a Pittsford Lions Club member.

Melissa Stroede has been promoted to Second Vice President – Treasury Management Officer. Melissa has been with CNB for over 16 years and has been instrumental in establishing the Treasury Management Department. She exceeds expectations when serving CNB business clients, and, she partners with commercial lenders, branch managers, and others within CNB as they expand business banking relationships with clients. Melissa is completing her second year of the Graduate School of Banking through the University of Wisconsin, earned her Branch Management Certification from the Michigan Bankers Association, and is an ICS Specialist. Melissa serves on the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital Finance Board and the Shop Rat Foundation Board. She is an active volunteer for several community organizations, including the Jackson Commercial Contractor’s Association, Hanover-Horton Athletic Boosters, and Junior Achievement.

Neil Wagler has been promoted to Second Vice President – Commercial Loan Officer. Neil began his banking career with CNB in 2010, and transitioned to commercial lending in 2016. Neil manages a loan portfolio that includes several large and complex relationships, and has provided CNB clients with excellent customer service and helped numerous clients secure PPP loans. He also serves as a mentor to CNB’s credit analysts.  Neil received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Central Michigan University and has completed the Leadership Jackson Program. He is involved in the community through various organizations and activities, including Adopt-A-Highway and Junior Achievement.

Robert (Bob) Wrozek has been promoted to Second Vice President – Commercial Loan Officer. Bob has been with CNB for over 15 years, with experience in branch management and commercial lending. Over the past year Bob has developed new relationships with several companies while assisting them in obtaining PPP loans, and has transitioned many into CNB clients.   Bob received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Adrian College. He is involved in numerous community service organizations, including the Jackson Southwest Little League, Exchange Club, and Junior Achievement.
