Joseph R. Williams Joins the Board of Directors of CNB Community Bancorp, Inc. and County National Bank

Craig S. Connor, Chairman of the Board of CNB Community Bancorp, Inc. and County National Bank (“CNB”), has announced the appointment of Joseph R. Williams to the Board of Directors of CNB Community Bancorp, Inc. and County National Bank. 

The Board of Directors is comprised of local leaders with the commitment and vision to guide CNB toward its mission of providing exemplary financial products and services to customers in its local markets. CNB’s Board members are responsible for the safety and soundness of the Bank while promoting new business development efforts. CNB Directors act as a sounding board in their communities for banking activities and help align and commit resources to support the growth and prosperity of the communities in which CNB serves.

Mr. Williams is currently the President and CEO of the Lenawee Community Foundation. Joe also has 36 years of experience in the community banking industry, enabling him to be well-informed of the trends and current climate in the field of banking. During his banking career he has proven himself to be an effective leader and motivator with a track record of successful asset and income growth, along with an extreme commitment to community.  “Joe is a talented add to our Board of Directors,” said Craig Connor. “His community bank experience and his respected position in the Lenawee County market will be instrumental to our continued growth.”

Joe was born and raised in Lenawee County. He graduated from Sand Creek High School and continued his education at Siena Heights University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.  Joe has been married to his wife Paula for 33 years, and they have three daughters: Lindsay, Chelsey, and Brooke.

Mr. Williams has been consistently active in his community for a number of years, serving in leadership roles for the Adrian Kiwanis Club, the Lenawee United Way, and the Lenawee Economic Development Corporation. Joe has also been involved in several other community organizations and volunteered on various committees. “I am very excited to join the board of CNB, a local bank that prioritizes community service and client experience,” said Williams. “CNB has put together an all-star team and I look forward to helping them become the premier community bank in the Lenawee County area.”
