County National Bank Announces Promotion of Barry Malek

Joseph R. Williams, President and CEO of County National Bank (“CNB”), is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Barry Malek to Vice President – Wealth Management Retirement Plan Officer.

Barry Malek joined CNB in 2011 as an Assistant Vice President – Trust Officer. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Cedarville University and completed Oakland University’s Personal Financial Planning Program. Barry’s professional certifications include Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC), Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). He has over 30 years of experience in employer retirement plans, life insurance, annuities, life insurance trusts, personal retirement planning, investment management, and estate/trust planning and administration.

Barry is an active board member with several Jackson area organizations, including the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Jackson Area Public Transit Authority, and the Jackson Rotary Club. He also volunteers with a number of other nonprofits, service clubs, and professional organizations.
